How are you?

So who am I?

I’m David, Dave to family, Ditch to friends…… ‘Hello!’

I’m living at home with my two babies, daughters Seren and Poppy, in our home in Warrington, England. They will be 9 and 7 respectively this year with my age to be confirmed at a later date. We have many hairless pets and an extended house yet to be completely decorated.

I have a happy little life and have worked for the same company over twenty one years (by the building of my own consequences which I guess is the choice thing and me making do!)

I am cosmic orderings latest fan and have a faith and much trust in pixiedust.

A Blog design for an up and coming Author with a wicked sense of humour, well worth bookmarking just for a daily dose of Dave the Ditch ……..

As a bit of an experimental foray into the way of the SEO world and as a marketing exercise we decided to build a blog aimed at readers interested in spoiling themselves and those they love. With a mixture of topics and more than one author the aim of the exercise is to give the blog varied but relevant content just as a bit of a test to see what results we could achieve. Its an ongoing project that over time we hope will grow.

We are currently testing out plug-ins for it and would welcome more contributors and article writers.

Pampering for You

As some of you are aware we are spending a little time trialling our favourite plug-ins for wordpress. Over on the WordPress playground we have currently installed plug ins for everything from e-commerce to chat rooms and forums.

Go for a wander and a play and see what is there and if you want dive into the forum over there and add your thoughts and maybe some suggestions on what you would like to see trialled.

Or maybe even suggest your favourite wordpress Plug-ins for us to play with.

We’ll  be adding more over the following days and weeks.

Following a change in direction kiss and make believe decided on a quick makeover to recapture the magic of childrens fancy dress rather than adult lingerie and fancy dress.







And of course to keep everything looking cohesive we gave the blog a quick going over too.

This particular site has been carefully built to the exact specifications provided by the client. Free WordPress Metalic theme.

Here we have two free WordPress themes for you to download and use,
created by us at Rainbow Designs.

These themes have a fully widgetised footer, three colomns, all widget enabled.

To use one of these themes simply download the zip file of the theme you want, extract the contents and upload the
rainbow-m or rainbow-mb folder (depending on which theme you have downloaded) and its contents to /wp-content/themes/ and activate the theme in
admin > Appearance > Themes
or upload the zip file via your wordpress admin panel,
admin > Appearance > Add New Themes
